Sully was rescued from a council pound in Cyprus where rescuers noticed he was literally starving to death. His bucket water was green and stagnant, his food was mouldy, damp and covered in flies, and his kennel was covered in faeces. He was shivering in a corner, terrified. There was no way they could have left him behind.
Since Sully was rescued he's been in the care of a foster home with various other dogs and has make remarkable progress. He has gained weight and is now much healthier, and he's also gained heaps of confidence. Sully loves to be made a fuss of and is so much happier now. He's so sociable with the other dogs and friendly with humans, which is amazing considering just weeks ago he was lowering in fear with his head hung low and his tail between his legs.
Sully's gentle nature and loving, patient personality will make him such a wonderful addition to a family looking for a sweet natured, loyal friend. He would prefer a home in a semi-rural environment as the hustle and bustle of a city might be too overwhelming for him, and he'd love a garden. Sully would probably be better suited to a home with another dog, as this will help his confidence continue to grow. Any home would be lucky to have this wonderful character.
