Sissy was found as a stray and taken to a council pound where she was absolutely terrified. She was living alongside lots of bigger, stronger dogs and she was so scared she would climb up onto the top of a kennel and stay there all day, only jumping down for food or water when the coast was clear. Eventually the council workers recognised it was detrimental for her to stay in such an environment and they called a local animal rescuer who came and collected Sissy.
We are now hoping to find Sissy the forever home that she deserves. Since leaving the council pound she is a different dog. She is a typical lap dog and adores human company. She loves a fuss and is a gentle, affectionate and calm little dog who would make an excellent first time dog for new owners.
Sissy is well socialised and learning that she no longer needs to be afraid of other dogs. She is happier with dogs of a similar size and temperament to her but her one true love is human affection. She would absolutely love a home where she can be spoilt rotten and she has nothing but pure devotion to offer to the family who give her what she so desperately craves. Sissy would make a remarkable companion.
