Rhona and her siblings have never had their own home. Their pregnant mother was rescued from a council pound where she was due to be put to sleep and once she'd arrived in the safety of a secure shelter she gave birth to a huge litter. Sadly, only two of the puppies have since found homes in the UK (both of which are doing brilliantly!) and the rest are waiting for their second chance.
Rhona is one of the quieter girls and she enjoys spending time with her sister relaxing. She get excited when the volunteers come to visit the shelter and she loves being stroked and having her chin scratched. Rhona enjoys playing with dogs of a similar temperament to you but sometimes feels anxious in unfamiliar situations. As a young dog that's never had to security of her own home, this is completely understandable. In the right home, Rhona will blossom and gain confidence. She would enjoy a home in a semi-rural environment with nice surrounding outdoor spaces to explore. Rhona and her siblings are still young and have long, healthy lives ahead of them. This time should be spent as a part of a family, not as a shelter dog.
