Jessica was dumped at the shelter by her previous owners straight after she had been groomed with them claiming that owning a dog was too expensive and they no longer wanted her. Jessica was left confused and frightened when she first arrived, but her easygoing and adaptable nature allowed her to slot into the hierarchy of the shelter dogs with ease and she is absolutely no trouble. Now she is looking for another new home after arriving in the UK. Unfortunately the cat has become stressed by her arrival and her adopters have to consider his welfare as well as Jessica’s. Jessica has not been chasing the cat although did show some interest in him, but the cat now won’t eat so they’re having to live separately.
Jessica would be a great dog for a first time dog owner. She is laidback, gentle and affectionate. She is also submissive with other dogs so would integrate very easily into an already established pack. Jessica is good with children and very sweet natured.
Jessica would be happy in a family with children, but equally she could settle into an apartment as an only dog. As long as Jessica's needs are met her adaptability will allow her to be rehomed into most situations. She has so much to offer and really deserves to finally get her chance to be happy.
