Wild at Heart Foundation funds animal welfare projects all over the world. We are on a mission to compassionately reduce the world's 600 million stray dog population through rescue projects, neutering programmes and education initiatives. By 2025 we want to rehome 10,000 dogs, neuter 100,000 dogs and educate 1,000,000 children.
Bella is one of our Fantastic Five - the five Lebanese street dogs who we'll be bringing home over the next few months. Bella was thrown from a second story apartment when she was a puppy, suffering a broken jaw and and breaking her two front legs. She is living in truly atrocious conditions and we need to get her out urgently. Bella is a sweet girl with a gentle, laid-back nature. Despite everything she's been through, she just wants to love and be loved. FIND OUT MORE ABOUT BELLA >>
Wild at Heart Foundation have rehomed over 1,000 dogs since we first launched. From gentle giants to small-but-mighty mutts, golden oldies to pint-sized pups, every single Wild at Heart Foundation dog has one thing in common: they are all desperate to find their forever home.
In many countries that have no laws against cruelty to animals, they often control stray dog populations by poisoning, hanging, beating and electrocution. Unfortunately, we have seen too much evidence of this and it is truly heart-breaking:
Nothing makes us happier than seeing a dog complete its journey from street dog to sofa dweller. We’re so very grateful to each and every one of our adopters for opening their hearts and homes to a dog who needed it the most, and are always delighted to hear how our Wild at Heart Foundation dogs are settling into their new lives. If you’re thinking of adopting a dog, why not browse our Success Stores here and here.

Wild at Heart Foundation believes that a dog can lift our mood, change our day, keep us active and transform a house into a home. They are our fierce protectors, our best friends, our support, structure, strength and solace. They offer freely what humans can spend lifetime learning, which is to love unconditionally. They save our lives in many ways.
This is why we want to end the suffering of these amazing creatures. We do this by: providing funding and incredible support to international rescue and adoption projects; organising neutering programmes, including research into new sterilisation techniques; and delivering education initiatives to children, teaching our next generation how important it is to care for animals.
