Fern and her sister were rescued from an overflowing council pound after rescuers noticed them cowering in the corner trying to avoid being trampled on by the bigger dogs they'd been thrown in a cage with. They were so scared but immediately grateful the second they were removed from the confines of the cage. As soon as they were in the car on their way to safety their little tails started wagging and they were showering the rescuers with kisses.
Now in the care of an organised shelter in Cyprus, Fern lives alongside other pups that are waiting for their forever homes. She is well socialised and loves being handled which is very important for a dog at this age. She is friendly with people, curious in her nature and loves to play. Fern would be happy to be rehomed alone but it would also be nice for her to have a canine playmate as she's so young and full of fun.
Fern is expected to remain on the smaller side as an adult. At 3 months old we cannot guarantee her breed mix or definite adult size but we believe she is a terrier mix given her shape and stature. She is an affectionate little soul and would be great for a family.
