Wild at Heart Foundation have been working hard to rebuild the community we support in Puerto Rico following the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma and Maria. We're pleased to tell you that the emergency appeal raised a phenomenal £13,000, and we are still pushing to increase this figure.
Our work in PR stems back to January 2017 when we partnered with the Humane Society of Puerto Rico to establish monthly neutering clinics. Since then we have neutered 656 dogs and the number only continues to grow. This has been a huge success and our support has been well received.
So far donations have been used to provide shelter, food, water purification tablets, electricity and critical veterinary care to dogs that fell victim to the aftermath of the natural disasters. Slowly, slowly, Puerto Rico will heal, but we need your support to continue the repairs. If you wish to set up a regular donation you can do so via this link which will take you to our secure BT MyDonate page. Our friends need help repairing their homes, livelihoods and hearts, please consider helping us to help them.
