Robyn was one of four puppies discovered abandoned in the middle of a field along with a load of old rubbish that had been dumped over time and accumulated into a huge, dangerous mess. Among the junk was a flea infested mattress that the pups had sought out as their only form of comfort. Left without any shelter in the middle of the 40 degree afternoon heat, the pups were so vulnerable and were taken to the vet as soon as they were found.
Thankfully, a foster home opened their doors to the puppies and they are now safe and sound until they find their forever homes. Robyn has a healthy appetite and has been treated for parasites and started her course of vaccinations. In a couple of months she will be ready to travel and we're hoping to find a five star home for her so she can leave her miserable past behind and experience the love and devotion that she deserves.
Robyn is expected to grow to be on the smaller side of medium as an adult and would enjoy a fairly active lifestyle. She is a mix of hunting breeds and will therefore make an incredibly loyal companion. She likes to explore and as she grows up she will love following scents and investigating everything nose first. Robyn is well socialised with other dogs, is learning to trust humans more and more every day, and is also in a foster home with cats where she appears to have no issues with them.
