Ralphie was rescued from a council pound where he would have otherwise starved to death. He was so skinny and sad when his rescuers spotted him moping behind the bars of a kennel, there was no way they couldn't have taken him to safety.
Ralphie is a young dog with a big heart. He is now learning what it's like to receive kindness from humans and he loves it. He has such a gentle and calm nature and he loves human company. He loves walking between your legs when you're standing and his coat is so soft and silky despite his neglect in the council pound. Ralphie would make a lovely family companion. He is great with other dogs and has such a pure soul. As you can see from some of the photos, Ralphie is very skinny so he needs to gain some weight and improve his health before we can send him to a new home.
Ralphie is friendly with everyone he meets and enjoys playing with other dogs of a similar nature to him. He would be best suited to a home in a semi-rural area with a garden as he enjoys being outside, and we think he would settle best in a home with another gentle natured dog. Even as he was carried to the car from the council pound his little tail was wagging, so in a few months time we can only imagine how happy he will be.
