New York Bully Crew is an American 501c3 not-for-profit rescue organisation founded in December 2010. Although based on Long Island, NYBC’s outreach is nationwide. They specialise in rescuing Pitbulls, however no animal in dire need of rescue is turned away. NYBC strives to bring positive attention to the most loyal breed one could encounter, and give second chances to those who have been discarded by humans simply because of what they are…a Pitbull.
Finding loving and responsible homes for each and every rescue is their main objective. They also run frequent neutering campaigns. NYBC firmly believe that there are NO bad dogs, just uneducated owners, and educating the public is a must if the bully breeds are to have a chance of survival in today’s society.
Wild at Heart Foundation partners with NYBC on a number of neutering campaigns, particularly in Puerto Rico and across the United States. NYBC have also supported projects we have run in Puerto Rico, in particular support with rehoming abandoned litters of puppies and rehabilitating severely abused dogs, such as the case of our beloved Mr Hicks in early 2017.
