Andrea Byrne is a multi-award winning London based artist and graduate of Goldsmiths College, University of London (M.A. Aural & Visual Cultures); Central St. Martin’s College, University of the Arts, London (M.A. Fine Art) and Liverpool John Moore’s University (B.A. Hons. Fashion & Textiles).
A double finalist and winner of The Engine Room International Sound Art Award (2015); The Janek Schaefer Award (2015); nominated and shortlisted for a BASCA Award (2015) and featured commissioned artist on Mary Anne Hobbs BBC 6 Musics’ Art Is Everywhere weekend (2015). Previously Byrne was the recipient of The Guardian / Issey Miyake / IWS Fashion Illustration Award and a finalist in the A.O.I. World Illustration Awards (2013). She regularly exhibits her flower paintings in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and London and her work is held in private and corporate collections nationally and internationally.
