Mila was found shivering on the side of a busy road in Bosnia, abandoned with her siblings. She has had a difficult start to life which in turn has caused her to adopt a nervous disposition. She is a sweet dog who has the potential to be a great companion if she is given the time and patience she needs. She is so deserving of an understanding home.
Mila was rehomed to UK this month but is struggling to adapt to her new life without her siblings there to reassure her. We believe Mila would thrive with another dog in the household. She has spent a few days at doggy day care where she followed the older dogs around, learning from them. Her body language was immediately more relaxed and she felt more confident among other dogs. It's clear that Mila will make the most progress within a household that already has at least one already established dog.
Mila needs a home away from the centre of town. Although she's not too bothered by unfamiliar noises she dislikes being overcrowded by unfamiliar people, so a home with surrounding countryside or nice rural walks would be perfect for her. We have no doubt that Mila will make great progress but in order for her to do that she needs a suitable home with understanding and patience.
