Missy and her two brothers were found as tiny pups dumped in a hole covered with mud. Unfortunately, Missy's brothers were not strong enough to survive their abandonment, and she is the only remaining littermate. Missy has been in a foster home with one of our amazing contacts since she was rescued, and is now doing really well. She is healthy and happy, and will make a great companion when she is finally offered a forever home.
Missy loves being around people. She is very sociable and used to being handled. She does have separation anxiety but this is very common in puppies and rescue dogs, and as she grows up with behavioural advice this is something that can be overcome with a bit of patience and consistency. Missy is crate trained and likes the security the crate offers her. She sleeps there overnight without any issues.
Missy is good with children, cats and other dogs. Missy would love a home in a semi-rural environment with another dog of a similar character that she can befriend. With time, Missy will blossom in the right home and we are confident she will become a loyal and loving friend.
