Maddie's story is no different from the rest. Found wandering the streets as a stray, she ended up being found by someone who cared and was offered refuge in a kennel complex until she can find her forever home. Maddie is a lovely smaller sized girl with a big personality. She is incredibly affectionate and loves to distribute kisses to absolutely everyone, but she is also very good with other dogs and loves to play.
Maddie is a real mongrel, so we can't be sure of her mix. Her size, colouring and features suggest she may be a mix of Terrier and Hound, such a Beagle, but we stress that this is just a guess. There is no way for us to tell the gene pool from which Maddie descended.
Maddie is good with children but can be a little bouncy at first. She is energetic and loves to run, especially to burn off all the boredom and stress from being trapped in a kennel all day long. Maddie passed her cat test and actually seemed scared of them, however a change of environment can affect behaviour so as she gains confidence in a new home if there are cats there she may become more playful with them.
This great girl has the whole package, all she's lacking now is a home. She is intelligent, very people orientated, and super cuddly. There must be a home out there with a Maddie sized hole in it! If you're interested in offering Maddie a home please get in touch!
