To put it bluntly, Liza hasn't had the best life. Back in January Liza's nose lead her to the front gates of a dog shelter in Cyprus, luckily one that accepts dogs of all shapes and sizes and puts no time limit on them finding a home. Liza was welcomed in with open arms but unfortunately a forever home has still not been offered to our lovely girl.
Liza is an older dog, estimated by the vets in Cyprus between 7 or 8 years old. Though she can't talk, her body told a sad story and it was evident that she had been used for years for breeding. She had sores and scars, but despite this her eyes were still bright and she remains very happy in human company. She hasn't allowed her past to have a detrimental effect on her new relationships with humans and we are positive that she is still adaptable enough to integrate into a new home. We want her to find somewhere special to live out her final years. Liza deserves a warm, quiet home where she can be showered with affection and enjoy long walks.
Liza has been in a foster home for a few months now and has had no problems settling in. She likes the sofa, she loves a cuddle, and she has a healthy appetite. Liza is very easygoing, laid back and affectionate, and appears to be fully house trained.
