Kelly isn't the type of dog that most people see and fall in love with instantly. She's not small and cute and fluffy, so naturally she doesn't draw in as much attention. However, Kelly is a gem, and any family would be incredibly lucky to have her as their companion. Despite her tough life, Kelly has nothing but love to give and she has a fantastic nature.
Kelly weighs around 20kg and was rescued from a public shelter in Bosnia where she was constantly bullied by the other dogs. She kept being attacked and after one of our partners in Bosnia witnessed her being bitten by some of the other dogs as they stole her food she realised she had to take her out of there and give her a chance. Her wagging tail showed her appreciation after being rescued and ever since she has displayed nothing but love for the people she meets.
Kelly is calm and well socialised with other dogs, but hates being bullied and will become submissive with more dominant dogs. She is friendly with children and adults alike, loves being outdoors, and is a sucker for a cuddle - she just loves being loved! She still has a way to come and needs treatment for her skin, some weight needs to be gained, and her body is covered in sores from bites, but with a little bit of time, a good diet and some TLC Kelly will soon be more beautiful than ever.
