Little Flox had been wandering around aimlessly for a few days before he was finally caught by a local rescuer. He'd been living in a field but suddenly darted out into the middle of the road and was almost hit by oncoming traffic. Thankfully the right people were in the right place at the right time and scooped Flox out of the road and into the car. Since Flox arrived his confidence has been improving and he's a lovely little character who would make a great companion.
We don't know much around his background, but Flox is a little shy around people he doesn't know. He would be best suited to a home with another confident dog so he can follow in their footsteps. He's by no means frightened of people, just a little apprehensive. He's happy to approach whilst you're offering cuddles to another dog to suss you out and before you know it he'll be demanding a chin scratch. He is a very sweet and unassuming little dog.
Flox would be best suited to a home in a more rural area where it's quieter and calm. Although he doesn't have a bad bone in his body we would recommend a home with older children if any, as younger children might be too noisy for him to feel comfortable around. Flox would love a home with a small garden so he can sunbathe, but we know he'll spend most of his time on the sofa once he's settled in!
