Ebony, her mother and her brother were found as strays living outside the house of a local man in Cyprus. He was caring for them and ensuring that they had food and water, but he wasn't able to give them the proper home they deserves and he sought help from a local rescue to find them the families they deserved.
When Ebony was first rescued she was petrified. She snuggled close to her mum at all times and quivered when someone new approached her. However, a few weeks on Ebony is now much more confident and rushes to greet people when they visit the pound now. She is small but has a big character and enjoys barking at other dogs when she's at the vets through the safety of her crate! As she is so young she is adaptable and learning every day.
Ebony loves being cuddled and you can cradle her like a baby. She's not into rough play as much as some puppies are and prefers to observe from the safety of someone's lap, but she does like to play with rope toys and chase after her brother when he has a ball. Ebony is sociable and sweet natured. She would prefer a slightly quieter home in a semi-rural area and we think she would prefer the company of another dog.
