Inspired by the cute picture of her three WaHF rescue dogs, drawn by Clementine, Karen Maher’s daughter, we are launching a competition for children. In 2017, we would like to produce our very first WaHF calendar and have decided that it will feature drawings and paintings created by children whose families have adopted rescue dogs.
HOW DOES IT WORK
There are two age categories: under 10’s and 11 to 16 years olds. The winner of each category wins a fantastic professional artist set, plus a unique signed painting of their dog by renowned artist Matthew Usmar. There will be ten runners up who will get a WaHF Goodie Pack, plus the chance to have their work of art seen by hundreds (hopefully thousands) of people around the world as each drawing will represent one of the twelve months of our 2017 calendar.
HOW TO ENTER
Any child you know can enter – your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews or neighbours! They can submit their drawing, painting or even a digital drawing of their rescue dog/s. Their dog can come from WaHF or any other rescue organisation. Just complete the form below and submit a scanned version of your drawing or post your picture to us by 30th September.
