Little Adam was in a bad way when he was first rescued. His teeth were in bad condition and he was so scared of new people and didn't like being touched. It's likely he was mistreated in some way prior to being found, and he still doesn't like people touching his collar and neck so he must have negative associations with being handled in that way. However, since moving to a foster home in Cyprus and being shown that everything is okay, Adam has made real progress and is now ready to look for his forever home.
Adam is very small in size, when he bonds with people he becomes truly devoted, and he is friendly with other dogs. He is currently living with cats and although he initially barks at them he doesn't chase or harm them so we feel he could be rehomed with feline friends. Adam needs a calm home with gentle, loving owners. This will help him to gain confidence. He would enjoy the company of another laid-back dog but this isn't compulsory.
Adam loves cuddles and is such a sweet natured boy. He loves cheese and has the most adorable little face. He prefers dogs that are closer to him in size as we think he feels threatened around large dogs, and he would be better suited to a home with older children purely to void him getting overwhelmed by loud noises and sudden movements.
