Maya and her siblings were born into homelessness after their stray mother gave birth to them in an army camp. A local noticed the mother desperately trying to care for her tiny litter and alerted a local dog shelter who thankfully was able to collect them and offer them proper care. The puppies are now 2 months old and growing up healthily and happily. They are now looking for their forever homes and will be ready to travel once they are 4 months of age.
Maya is the biggest and longest haired puppy of the litter. She is clumsy with her big paws but has so much love and affection to give to everyone she meets. She is keen to please and will therefore excel in training sessions once settled into a new home, and she loves to play.
Maya would be best suited to a home in semi-rural environment and will make a great family companion. As she is young and adaptable she is great with children and could happily be rehomed alongside other dogs. Her age also means she’s more likely to adapt to a home with cats. A fairly active lifestyle would be preferable for Maya.
